Canon PowerShot SD1000

The Canon PowerShot SD1000 has 7.1 megapixels that is good for any personal use. This camera has a good power-up time, but lacks in the speed between taking photographs. There is a pause time of about 2-3 seconds between each photograph. So I would not recommend this as a back-up camera for any pro photographers out there. The external design on this camera is also very pretty.

If you look, you notice something this point-and-shoot has that most do not. An optical viewfinder. (You can see it just to the left of the flash.) I've found that this viewfinder only shows about 4/5 of what you actually get in the photograph. The battery life on this camera is good enough to take about 200-220 photos with standard use.
